Beautiful, sunny day in Australia!

Today is my last day in Canberra so I decided to go to the tallest point in the city to see how it looks from above. The views were amazing! I decided to treat myself at the revolving restaurant to lunch, but of course, it was very pricey! $65 bucks, so I declined.

I walked back down the mountain to the Botanic Gardens and took a tour. Unlike our Fairchild, the plants in the garden are only from Australia. Some where very different than ours, but some were similar. I was impressed most by the eucalyptus trees. No koalas though!

So tomorrow I will hop on a plane very early in the morning to Melbourne and be there for 4 days. Of course, as I am visiting "new friends", I will have the best guides in the city.

Check you later.

ps. Barb, I will try to get a menu for you. Love you and thanks for following.

  1. Hope the trip to Melbourne went well and I am glad you had a sunny last day in Canberra. The Botanic Gardens look like they were beautiful - Strolling through gardens is one of my favorite things. Well, take care and talk to you in Melbourne!
